| Bu çalısmada, Olusturmacı uygulamanın, ?Solunum Sistemi? ünitesi ögretiminde kullanılmasının, ögrenci basarısına etkisi incelenmistir. Çalısmada bir basarı testi gelistirilmistir. Gelistirilen test, örnekleme, öntest ve sontest olarak uygulanmıstır. Örneklem verileri, 2004-2005 egitim-ögretim yılında Balıkesir Hatice Fahriye Eginlioglu lkögretim Okulundan elde edilmistir. ki sınıftan 64 ögrenci çalısmaya dahil edilmistir. Sınıflardan birine kontrol digerine deney grubu adı verilmistir. Deney grubuna, öntest uygulandıktan sonra, tasarlanan ögretim modeli uygulanmıs, kontrol grubunun ögretim seklinde ise bir degisiklik yapılmamıstır. Tasarlanan ögretim modeli, konu anlatım metni, çalısma yaprakları, solunum sistemi modeli ve bulmacalardan olusmaktadır. Tasarlanan ögretim, deney grubuna 120 dakika (üç ders saati) uygulanmıstır. Konu bitiminde, öntest, ögretim modelinin sonuçlarını görmek için, sontest olarak yeniden uygulanmıstır. Veriler, ANOVA ve t-testi ile analiz edilmistir. Analiz sonuçları, deney grubundaki basarının, kontrol grubundakinden daha fazla oldugunu göstermistir. Uygulama sonucunda, olusturmacı yaklasımla tasarlanan ögretimin ögrencilerin basarılarını ve solunum sistemi konusunu anlama düzeylerini pozitif etkiledigi görülmektedir. | In this study, the effect of using the constructivist approach in teaching. ?Respiratory System? unit on students? achievement was examined. In thıs study a success test was developed. The test was applied as sampling, pretest and posttest. The sampling data were collected from the Hatice Fahriye Eginlioglu Primary Education in Balikesir during 2004-2005 academic year. 64 students from two classes were included in this study. One class was called control group and the other was called experimental group. After the pretest, the instruction model was applied to the experimental group but no change was made to the teaching style for the control group. The instruction model consist of concept teaching text, worksheets, respiratory system model and crossword. The instruction model was applied to the experimental group in a laboratory for 120 minutes. The pretest was given as a posttest to see the results of the instruction model. Data were analyzed by t- test and ANOVA. The results showed that the success of the experimental group was beter than the control group. In conclusion, contructivist view model effects the students? accomplishment and understanding levels of ?Respiratory System? subject.
