| Mahkeme kayıtları olan Şer’iye Sicilleri ait olduğu dönemin siyasi ve sosyal yapısını, kültürünü ve ekoNomik yapısını yansıtmaktadır. Osmanlı tarihi ve şehir tarihçiliğinin gelişmesinde önemli katkılar yapmaktadır. Çalışmamız Türk tarihi ve kültürü bakımından önemli bir yere sahip olan Şer’iyye Sicillerinden 1187-1189 tarihlerini kapsayan Gaziantep’te kaydedilen Şer’i mahkeme kayıtlarını içermektedir. 174 Numaralı Ayntab Şer’iyye Sicili Defteri toplamda 258 sayfa olup, defterin 1-137 sayfa aralıkları çalışılmıştır. Sicilde ferman, berat, tezkere, temessük, nişan-ı hümayun, buyuruldu senet, pusula hüccet türünden toplam da 171 belge bulunmaktadır.. Bu belgeler defter doğrultusunda dönemin Gaziantep’inin sosyal, kültürel, ekoNomik ve idari durumu ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. | The court records of Şer’iye Sicilleri (Şeri’iye Records) reflects the political and social structure, cultural heritage and the ecoNomic structure of its period. This work contributes a great deal to the development of Ottoman history and the urban historiography. Our work covers the Şeri’iye Records of Gazaintep city for the period of 1187-1189, which has a significant place in the Turkish history and its culture. Numbered 174 Ayntab Şer’iyye Records Book has a total of pages 258 and the pages of 1-137 have been throughly studied. In this Court Records Book, there are a total of 171 documents for various cases. In addition to this, in the book, there are other documents sent from the central government containing topics such as berat (military rating), imperial orders from sultan as well as records of deeds, obligation for payments, and collection of biographies. These documents, with the help of the court records book, attempted to reveal the social, cultural, ecoNomic and administrative status of the period in Gaziantep province.
