| ÖZET H. Meşrutiyet Türk tarihinin en hareketli olduğu dönemdir. Bu dönemde daha önce yaşanmamış siyasi, sosyal, kültürel ve ideolojik bir özgürlük vardı. Bu özgürlük basınla ve ideolojik yaşamda bir patlamaya yol açmış bununla birlikte siyasi yaşamda bir düzen oluşturamamıştır. Bu dönemde Osmanlı Devleti’nde birçok dergi ve gazete basılmaya başlanmıştır. Gazeteciler ve entellektüeller halkı aydınlatmak için “demokrasi, özgürlük, eşitlik ve kardeşlik” hakkında yüzlerce makale yazmışlardır. Tüm bu faaliyetlere rağmen gazeteciler ve entellektüeller arasında ortak bir kavram birliği yoktur. Gazeteciler ve entellektüeller “Türkçülük, Yenileşme, Batıcılık, Osmanlıcılık ve İslamcılık” konularında olduğu gibi siyasi, ekonomik ve sosyal ilişkiler ile ilgili farklı düşüncelere sahiptirler. Zamanla bu anlaşmazlık hükümet ve kamu hayatı arasında- bir ihtilafa sebep olmuştur. II. Meşrutiyet döneminde ortaya çıkan olaylar sadece….bu zamanı, değil, daha sonraki yılları da etkilemiştir. Bu yüzden II. Meşrutiyet döneminin birçok tezahürünü genç Türk Cumhuriyeti’ nde görebiliriz. Sonuç olarak, bu günün meselesini çözmek için II. Meşrutiyet dönemini iyi bir şekilde bilmek zorundayız. Dergiler, tarihi araştırmalar için birinci el kaynaklardan birisidir. Çünkü onlardan direk olarak dönemin olayları hakkında önemli bilgileri temin edebiliriz. Bu bağlamda II. Meşrutiyet dönerrıinin en önemli dergilerinden birisi olan “Resimli Kitab Dergisi”ni inceledik. Ayrıca derginin yazarları Osmanlı toplumunun çok meşhur ve bilinen entelektüelleriydi. Bu dergi sosyal, siyasi ve kültürel konular hakkında birçok makaleyi içermektedir. Bunlara ek olarak Meşrutiyet dönemini tasvir eden birçok orijinal resim ve fotoğrafa sahiptir.. Sonuç olarak amacımız bu önemli dergiyi sosyal bilim araştırmacılarına tanıtmaktır. | |||
| ABSTRACT The Second Constitutional period was the most active era of the Turkish history. In this period there was a political, social, cultural and ideological liberty which has not been lived before. This liberty led to explosion at the press and ideological life, however it couldn’t create an order at the political life. In this period so many journals and magazines were started to publication in the Ottoman state. The journalists and intellectuals wrote hundreds of articles in order to enlighten the people about the democracy, liberty, equality and fraternity. In spite of all these activites, there was no consensus among the journalists and intellectuals. They had different ideas on the political, economical and social matters, like the subjects of Turkiszm (Türkçülük), modernization, westernization, Ottomanisizm (Osmanlıcılık) and Islamisizm (İslamcılık). As the time pass, this disagreement brought about a confliction between the government and the public life. The events which came out in the Second Constitutional period affected not only that times but also later years. Therefore we can see many illustrations of the Second Contitutional period on the young Turkish Republic. As a result we have to know well the Second Contitutional period to solve the today’s affairs. The journals are one of the first handed sources for the historical researches because we can get significant informations about events of the period directy from them. At this juncture, we investigated “Resimli Kitab Dergisi” which was one of the most important journals of the Second Contitutional period. This journal has many articles about social, political and cultural subjects. Besides the writers of the journal were very famous and well – known intellectuals of the Ottoman society. In addition, the journal has a lot of original pictures and photographs describing the Second Contitutional period. In conclusion, our aim is to introduce this important journal to the social sciences researchers. | |||
