| ÖZET Çalışmamızda Milli Mücadele ile alakalı romanlar tanıtılmak istenmiş ve bu romanlardaki insanların, yaşanılan olaylar ve mekanların gerçeğin yansımaları olduğu düşünülerek, okuyucuya hangi hususların önem taşıdığı anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çünkü bu romanlarda, Kurtuluş Savaşı döneminde yaşamış bütün insan tiplerine farklı isimlerde ama aynı karakter özeliklerinde rastlamak mümkündür. Bu romanlarda Milli Mücadele dönemi, İstanbul ve Anadolu yaşamı gözler önüne serilmektedir. Ayrıca bu dönemde yaşamış insanların savaşa, özellikle Kurtuluş Savaşı’na bakış açılan ortaya konulmuştur. I. bölümde Kurtuluş Savaşı’nın genel bir özeti verilmiştir. H bölümde Milli Mücadele dönemi ve sonrasında edebiyat alanındaki akımlar tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. IH. bölümde toplumsal roman kavramının içeriği irdelenmiştir. IV. bölümde ise Milli Mücadele romanı başlığı altında Kurtuluş Savaşı’nı ele alan romanlar genel olarak tanıtılmaktadır. Bu çalışma içinde, V. bölümde Kurtuluş Savaşı’nı ön planda ele alan eserler ve bu eserlerde Anadolu’nun, İstanbul’un tasvirleri yer almaktadır. VI. bölümde Kurtuluş Savaşı’m birinci dereceden işleyen romanlarda, ön planda olan ve geri planda da dikkat çeken karakterler ve bu karakterlerle okuyucuya verilmek istenen mesaj lann aktarımı vardır. Ayrıca Kurtuluş Savaşı ile daha az alakası olan, ama bir döneme tanıklık etmeleri nedeniyle gene tarihi belgeler sayılabilecek romanlar da VII. bölümde tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu romanlarda yazarların, kahramanları kullanmadan kendi bakış açılan ile Kurtuluş Savaşı, yada Anadolu köylüsünü anlatan değerlendirmeleri vardır ki, bu da VIII. bölüm içinde verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Son bölümde ise 20. Yüzyıl Türkiye’si için çok önem taşıyan Atatürk İlke ve inkılaplarının romanlardaki yansımalan vardır. Bunlann yapılmasının gerekliliğine romanlarda açıklamaları ile rastlamak mümkündür. Bu inkılaplann genç Türkiye için ne kadar önem teşkil ettiğini bu romanlann kılavuzluğunda Türk halkına kavratılmaya çalışıldığı düşünülürse Milli Mücadele ile ilgili romanlann ne ölçüde zor bir görevi üstlendikleri daha iyi anlaşılmaktadır. vıı | |||
| SUMMARY In our study, we want to introduce the novels about the National Straggle. Thinking that the characters, events and places in these novels are reflections of reality, we want to emphasize the points that are of interest to the reader. In these novels, it is possible to encounter all the types of men that lived in the period of the War of Independence, possessing their original characters but with different names. Also, in these novels, the period of the National Struggle and the life in Istanbul and Anatolia are described. Again in these novels, the peopled conception of war and especially of the War of Independence is put forth. First part gives a general summary of the War of Independence. In the second part we introduce the trends in literature during and after the National Struggle period. In the third part, the concept of social novel is examined. In the fourth part, we introduce the novels dealing with the War of Independence, under the title “the novel of the National Struggle”. In the fifth part of this study, we have the novels that mainly deal with the War of Independence, together with the description of Anatolia and Istanbul. In the sixth part, we are dealing with the War of Independence a priori, the primary and secondary characters in these novels that are of importance and the message that is given to the reader through these characters. The noyels introduced in the seventh part are less related with the War of Independence but are nevertheless important since they each are witnesses to a period of time and are considered^ historical sources. These novels describe the War of Independence or Anatolian peasant without using the characters directly, but instead through the authors’ perspectives and this makes up the eighth part of the study. In the last part, the novels that are examined have the reflections of Atatürk’ s principles and revolutions, which are very important to 20th century Turkey. It is possible to come across the necessity of such reflections in these novels with explanations. If we think that it is meant to tell the Turkish public the importance of these revolutions to young Turkey, through the guidance of these novels, we can understand the tough mission that the novels about the National Struggle have undertaken.
