| Millî Mücadele, vatanında vatansız kalan Türk milletinin kurtuluş mücadelesidir. Türk milletinin, Atatürk önderliğinde yazdığı bu destan daha sonra Cumhuriyet ve inkılaplarla taçlandırılmıştır. Türk tarihi açısından önemli olan bu olaylar afişlere yansımıştır. Millî Mücadele, Cumhuriyet ve Atatürk konulu dönem afişleri tez çalışmasının içeriğini, afişlerdeki süsleme, sembol ve imgelerin sanatsal bir bakış açısıyla incelenmesi de tez çalışmasının konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Endüstriyel sanat ürünü olan afişler, baskı teknolojilerinin gelişmesi, kolay üretilebilmesi ve insana hitap ederek algıyı yönlendirmesi bakımından XX. yüzyılın başında yaşanan savaşlarda propaganda malzemesi haline gelmiş ve tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkler tarafından da kullanılmıştır. Millî Mücadele ve Cumhuriyet’in ilk yıllarında yaşanan olayların tam bir dökümünü görmenin mümkün olduğu dönem afişleri, tarihi açıdan birer belge niteliğindedir. Bu afişlerin incelenmesi; 1919-1945 yılları arasında ülkenin içinde bulunduğu askeri, siyasi, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel durumun anlaşılmasında önemli olmuştur. Ayrıca tezde görsel malzeme üzerinde okumalar yapılarak; afişlerde kullanılan sembollerin ikonografik olarak çözümlenmesi sağlanmış ve Türk kültürüyle olan bağlantısı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bunun yanında araştırmada; Millî Mücadele, Cumhuriyet ve Atatürk imgeleriyle verilmek istenen mesajlarla birlikte tasarımda kullanılan sanatsal dil de anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma Giriş, 1. Millî Mücadele, Cumhuriyet ve Atatürk, 2. Propaganda ve Sanat, 3. Grafik Tasarım ve Afiş, 4. Katalog, 5. Değerlendirme, 6. Sonuç olmak üzere altı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Mevcut bölümlere alt başlıklar açılarak ayrıntılı bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Katalog bölümünde incelenen afişlerde tespit edilen bulgular, çeşitli açılardan değerlendirmeye tabi tutularak elde edilen veriler sonuç bölümünde Sanat Tarihi disiplini çerçevesinde ortaya konulmuştur. | National Struggle is the salvation struggle of Turkish nation who became homeless in their homeland. Later on, this epic who has written by Turkish Nation under the leadership of Atatürk, had been crowned with the Republic and revolutions. These events which are important for Turkish history had been reflected into posters. This thesis about the period posters on National Struggle, Republic and Atatürk contains the examination of decorations, symbols, images from an artistic point of view. With the development of printing technologies, easier production and directing perception by appealing to people, Posters, which are industrial works of art, started to be used as propaganda materials in the wars in early XX. century and as the whole World, Turks has started to use posters for propaganda materials. The period posters about the National Struggle and the first years of Republic have the historical certificatory. The examination of these posters is important to explain the military, political, social, economical and cultural situation of Turkey between the years of 1919-1945. Additionally in this thesis, iconographical analysis of symbols used in posters was provided and its connection with Turkish culture is tried to be revaled by the reading and examination of visual material. Besides in this research, the messages to be given by the images of National Struggle, Republic and Atatürk and also the artistic dialect in designs is tried to be explained. The study consists of six sections: Introduction, 1. National Struggle, Republic and Atatürk, 2. Propaganda and Art, 3. Graphic Design and Poster, 4. Catalogue, 5. Evaluation, 6. Conclusion. Sub-titles are opened to the existing sections and detailed information is given. The findings determined in the posters examined in the catalog section were evaluated from various perspectives, and the informations obtained were presented in the conclusion section within the framework of the Art History discipline.
