| ?Sanat başından beri, başlayalı beri çok değişik evrelerden geçmiş ve her zaman yaşamın tanıklığını üstlenmiş, bir başka söyleyişiyle ?sanatçının kendini tanıma ve tanımlama çabasının yanında- insanı tanıma ve tanımlama uğraşı görünümünde olmuştur.?Tarihsel, toplumsal, düşünsel, kültürel, ekonomik ve benzer etkenlerin biçimlendirdiği ve anlamlandırdığı sanat yapıtının plastik yapısının belirleyicileri estetik biçimler ve kavramlardır. Geniş bir boyutta ele alındığında mekan kavramı da bu kavramlardan bir tanesi olarak öne çıkar.Mekan en dar anlamıyla ?içinde yaşanılan yer, fiziksel ortam; uzay, feza? anlamlarını içerir. Bununla birlikte ?mekan algısı? taşıdığı fiziksel ve kültürel boyutlar açısından farklı farklıdır.Konuya plastik sanatlar açısından yaklaşıldığında, mekanın derinlik ya da Fransızca’dan gelen bir terim olan espas (espace) kavramıyla çoğu zaman yan yana ele alındığı ve form-fon ilişkisi bağlamında değerlendirildiği görülür.Bizim burada eser-metin çalışmamızla ilgili olarak ele aldığımız ve irdelediğimiz yanıyla mekan, resim ve heykel türü plastik sanat ürünlerinde yansıtma ve yanılsama sorunsalına görsel ve düşünsel açıdan nasıl yaklaşıldığı ile ilgilidir.Üç boyutlu bir nitelik taşıyan, yani maddesi ve mekanı somut olan heykelin yanında somut madde ve somut mekandan yoksun, sadece madde ve mekan yanılsamasına dayalı bir üretim biçimi olan resim sanatının yan yana ve birlikte ele alınıp değerlendirilmesi, hem zaman dizinsel (kronolojik) süreç yönünden, hem de sonuç açısından oldukça karmaşık bir yapı ortaya koyar. Böylesi bir bakış açısı ve yaklaşımla yola çıkanlar sonuçta, Doğal Mekan, Kurgusal Mekan, Yansıtmacı Mekan, Parçalanmış Mekan, Çizgisel Mekan, Uzamsal/Derinliksi Mekan, Yüzeysel mekan, Kuşbakışı Mekan, Soyut Mekan, Kozmik Mekan ve Kavramsal Mekan gibi farklı Mekan türlerinin var olduğunu belirlemişlerdir.Bu noktadan yola çıkarak ?Çağdaş Türk Plastik Sanatlarında Mekan Olgusu ve Kırılma Noktaları? konulu bu eser-metin çalışmasına, zamandizinsel bir yaklaşıma bağlı belli bir plan ve program dahilinde yaklaşılmış; sırasıyla, önce mekan kavramına değinilmiş , daha sonra sanat tarihi içerisinde plastik sanatlarda mekan olgusu ile ilgili gelişmeler araştırılmış ve kırılma noktaları saptanmıştır. Son olarak da asıl konuya gelinerek ?mekan?ın Türk Plastik Sanatlarındaki kullanımı ve güncel sanattaki durumu ele alınmıştır. Buna göre, önce resim ve heykelin daha sonra ise sınırları geçişken farklı sanatların bir araya gelerek oluşturdukları Güncel Sanat türlerinin Türk Plastik sanatlarında nasıl yansıma bulduğuna ve farklı sanatsal üretimlerin ortaya çıkmasındaki rolüne değinilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Çağdaş, Türk, Plastik Sanatlar, Mekan, Kırılma Noktası | |||
| ?Art, from its beginning, since it has started, has been through many phases and has always been witness to life; in other words it appears to be an effort to know and define man ?as well as the artist?s own struggle to know and define him/herself.?The determinants of the plasticity of an artwork, which historical, societal, philosophical, cultural, economic and similar factors shape and give meaning to, are aesthetic form and concepts. When seen from a wider perspective, the concept of space emerges as one of these concepts.Space, in its most specific definition, contains such meanings as ?a place of living, a physical medium, outer space, the sky?. However, ?perception of space? varies due to the physical and cultural dimensions it has.When this subject is approached from the perspective of plastic arts, it can be seen that space is often considered together with depth or espace, which is a French term, and that they are evaluated in the context of form-background relation.Concerning our work of artwork-text, the way we are dealing with and delving into space is about how the problematics of reflection and illusion in the painting and sculpture products of plastic arts is approached visually and philosophically.The side-by-side evaluation of sculpture, which has the quality of being three dimensional, i.e., its material and its space is concrete, and the art of painting, which is devoid of concrete material and concrete space, and is a way of production that is based solely on the illusion of material and space reveals a quite complex structure in terms of indexible (chronological) process and the result. Those who set off from such a point of view and approach, in the end found out that there are different kinds of space such as Natural space, Fictive space, Reflective space, Fragmented space, Linear space, Spatial/Deep space, Superficial space, Bird?s-Eye-View Space, Abstract space, Cosmic space and Conceptual spaceTaking its start from here, this work of artwork-text whose subject is ?The Concept of Space and Its Breaking Points in Contemporary Turkish Plastic Arts?, is approached within a certain plan and programme that is connected to a chronological method; firstly the concept of space is mentioned, then the developments regarding the concept of space in plastic arts within art history are investigated and the breaking points are determined. Finally, coming to the main subject, the use of ?space? in Turkish Plastic Arts and its state in contemporary art are discussed. With reference to this, how firstly painting, then sculpture, and later on the practices of Contemporary Art which came into being through combining different arts whose borders are transitional, are reflected in Turkish Plastic arts; and its role in the emerging of different artistic productions, are mentioned.Keywords: Contemporary, Turkish, Plastic Arts, Space, Breaking Points | |||
