| Bu çalışmada Citrus aurantium (turunç) meyve suyunun ömür uzunluğu üzerine etkileri Drosophila melanogaster’in Oregon ırkında araştırıldı. Turunç meyve suyunun 30mL/100mL lik uygulama ve su kontrol gruplarında dişi ve erkek populasyonları ayrı ayrı çalışıldı. Bu çalışmada turunç meyve suyunun 30ml/100ml dozuna maruz bırakılan erkek ve dişi populasyonlarında kontrol grubuna göre pozitif bir gerontolojik etki gözlendi. Ayrıca deney ve kontrol gruplarında dişi bireylerin erkeklere göre daha uzun yaşadıkları saptandı. Turunç suyunun farklı konsantrasyonlarının Drosophila melanogaster’de genotoksik ve antigenotoksik etkisi Somatik Mutasyon ve Rekombinasyon Testi (SMART) ile araştırıldı. Bunun için Drosophila melanogaster ‘in çoklu kanat kılı (mwh) ve düzensiz kanat kılı (flr) mutant ırklarının 72 saatlik transheterozigot larvalarına uygulama yapıldı. Turunç suyunun genotoksik etkisinin değerlendirilmesi için 100 ml/100ml ve 50ml/100ml dozları ve antigenotoksik etkilerinin değerlendirilmesi için doksorubisinin 0,125 mg/ml ile beraber 50ml/100ml (turunç+Dxr) dozu uygulandı. Elde edilen verilere göre turunç suyunun genotoksik etkiye sahip olmadığı gözlendi. Citrus auriuntium meyve suyunun genotoksik etkisi bilinen doksorubisine karşı antigenotoksik etkisinin olduğu saptandı. | In this study, effects of Citrus auriuntium (bitter orange) fruit juice on longevity of Drosophila melanogaster (Oregon) was investigated. Experimental 30 mL/100mL fruit juice and water control groups were studied separately in male and female populations. A positive gerontological impact was observed in male and female populations, which exposed to 30 ml/100 ml doses of orange juice, compared to the control group. In addition, it is detected that female individuals live longer than male in both experimental and control groups. Genotoxic anda antigenotoxic effects of different concentrations of bitter juice were investigated on Drosophila melanogaster with Somatic Mutation and Recombination Test (SMART). For this, the application was made to 72-hour transheterozigot larvae of Drosophila melanogaster ‘s multiple wing hairs (mwh) and flare (flr) mutant race. To evaluate the genotoxic effect of bitter juice, doses of 100 ml /100ml and 50ml /100ml, as well as 0.125 mg / ml doxorubicin along with 50ml / ml (bitter orange + Dxr) doses were applied for evaluation of the antigenotoxic effects. According to the data obtained, it was observed that, orange juice have not genotoxic effects on Drosophila melanogaster. It was found that, Citrus auriuntium fruit juice has anti-genotoxic effect against to doxorubicin which is known as genotoxic.
