| Çağlar boyunca, toplumun önde gelen isimlerinin suikast yoluyla öldürülmeleri dünya genelinde sıkça başvurulan yöntemlerden biri olmuştur. Bunun sebebi ise karanlık odaklar olarak adlandırılan kimliği belirsiz suçluların kaotik bir ortam yaratmak istemeleridir. Tarih boyunca süregelen bu durum, içinde bulunulan 21. yüzyılda dahi devam etmektedir. Daha çok siyasi sebepler dolayısıyla tercih edilen bu yöntem, sonucu belirsiz süreçlerin başlangıcı olması bakımından da önem taşımaktadır. Türkiye’de de failleri ortaya çıkarılamayan pek çok suikast yaşanmıştır. Bu suikastler gazetecilerden, siyasetçilere ve akademisyenlere kadar geniş bir yelpazeye yayılmakla birlikte, daha çok gazeteci suikastleri gündeme konu olmuştur. Hâlbuki Türkiye’de akademisyenlere de yönelik pek çok suikast bulunmaktadır. Üstelik bu akademisyen suikastleri 1970’lerden 1990’ların sonlarına dek uzanan yakın dönem Türkiye tarihini kapsamaktadır. Suikaste maruz kalanlar, kendi dönemlerinde alanlarında en başarılı ve eserleri halen güncelliğini koruyan akademisyenlerdir. Bu suikastlerin neredeyse tamamı siyasi ve ideolojik gerekçelerle gerçekleştirilmekle birlikte, bu gerekçeler akademik anlamda irdelenmemiş ve konuyla ilgili olarak daha önce herhangi bir bilimsel araştırma yapılmamıştır. Tezin hazırlanmasındaki temel amaç ise hem bu akademisyenleri tanıtmak hem de suikastlerin yaşandığı dönemlerin siyasi konjonktürü çerçevesinde, bu cinayetlerin kimler tarafından neden işlendiğini, suikastlerin arkasındaki asıl planlayıcılarının kimler ve bu olayların sonucunda neler olduğunu ortaya koyarak birtakım belirsizlikleri aydınlatmaktır. | Throughout the ages, assassination of the leading names of the community has become one of the most frequently used methods in the world. This is because the indefinite criminals, called dark foci, want to create a chaotic environment. This continues throughout history, even in the 21st century. This method, which is preferred due to political reasons, is also important in that the result is the beginning of uncertain processes. There have been many assassinations in Turkey that can not be uncovered. These assassinations spread to a wide range of journalists, politicians, and academics, while more journalist assassinations were on the agenda. However, there are many assassinations against academicians in Turkey. Moreover, these academical assassinations include the recent history of Turkey dating from the 1970s to the late 1990s. Those who have been assassinated are the most successful academicians in their field during the period and their works are still being updated. While almost all of these assassinations are carried out for political and ideological reasons, these reasons have not been investigated in an academic sense and no scientific research has been conducted before. The main aim of preparing the dissertation is to introduce these academicians and to clarify some uncertainties in the political conjuncture of the periods in which the assassinations took place, by explaining why these murders were committed, by whom the original planners behind the assassinations were and what they were the result of.
