| Bir devletin, tarihini aydınlatması bakımından arşivleri büyük önem taşımaktadır. Çalışmamız, 153 ve 154 numaralı klasör içinde yer alan belgelerin okunup günümüz harflerine çevrilmesiyle Kayseri’nin dolayısıyla Osmanlı Devleti’nin siyasi, ekonomik, askerî ve sosyal hayat gibi konularda aydınlatılmasını öngörmektedir.153 ve 154. klasörde yer alan belgelerin mahiyetine göre : Temettuat vergisi indirim dilekçeleri, Hayvanat-ı ehliye tâdâd tezkireleri, Telgraflar, Alım-satım belgeleri, Ağnam vergisi, Hicaz demir yolu menfaatine mahsus belgeler olarak tasnif edilebilir.Belgelerimizde reayanın temettuat vergisi hususunda kendisine yazılan vergi miktarının azaltılmasını ya da tamamen kaldırılmasını istediği görülmektedir. Alınan hayvanat-ı ehliye rüsumu ve ağnam vergisi ile dönem hakkında ekonomik olarak bilgi ve sahip olunan hayvan sayısıyla geçim düzeyinin hangi standartlarda olduğu tespit edilmektedir. Yapılan alım-satım işlemleri, hangi gelir kaynaklarının ne kadar bedelle el değiştirdini göstermektedir.Hicaz Demir Yolu menfaatine mahsus belgelerle de o dönemdeki muâllimlerin ne kadar maaş aldıkları ve hangi derslerin olduğuna dair çıkarımlar elde edilmektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Şehir tarihçiliği, Kayseri, Osmanlı, Temettuat, Dilekçe, Telgraf | |||
| A state archives of history is of great importance in terms of lighting.
