| 14. yüzyıldan sonra Türkistan sahasında baĢlayan bölgesel güç mücadelesi 18. ve 19. yüzyıllarda Rusya‟nın etkin bir güç olarak Türkistan sahasını egemenliği altına almasıyla neticelenmiĢtir. Bu dönemde Rus Çarlığını güçlü kılan amiller eğitim, teknoloji ve askeri üstünlüklerdir. Romanovlar sülalesine mensup II. Aleksandr dönemi, Rusya‟nın Türkistan sahasında ilerleyiĢini hızlandırdığı bir dönemdir. Onun baĢa geçmesiyle 1867 yılında Çarlık birlikleri Türkistan‟da TaĢkent merkezli bir Genel-Askeri Valilik kurdular. Bu askeri valilik ile tüm Türkistan sahasını kontrol etmesiyle ekonomik anlamda kendilerine güç katmıĢ, ilerleyen süreçlerde de Türkistan coğrafyasında yaĢayan milletlerin kimliği, dini ve dilleri üzerine uyguladığı politikalar bölgenin kaderini etkileyen bir durum olmuĢtur. Rus Çarlığı bu süreçte Alman asıllı General Konstantin Petroviç Von Kaufman‟ı Türkistan sahasında Çarlığın tüm faaliyetlerini yürütmesi için geniĢ yetkilerle donatarak Türkistan Genel Valisi olarak atadı. Kaufman Çarlığın kendisine verdiği geniĢ yetkiler ile Türkistan’daki Rus hâkimiyetini geliĢtirmek adına sömürge politikalarını yürüttü. | |||
| The regional power cycle that began in the Turkestan area after the fourteenth century turned into a period in which Russia dominated the Turkestan territory as a active power in the 18th and 19th centuries. During this period, the main principles shaping Russian identity were education, technology and military superiorities. The Alexandr the II period, belonging to the Romanovs family, is a time in which Russia accelerated its progress in the Turkistan area.When he took over, the Tsarist troops established a Military Governorate in Tashkent in 1867. With this military governorate, it has strengthened them economically by controlling the entire Turkistan area, and the policies implemented by the nations living in the Turkistan geography in the following processes on the identity, religion and languages have become a situation affecting the fate of the region. In this process, Russian Tsarist General Konstantin Petrovic Von Kaufman appointed as the General Governor of Turkistan by equipping him with wide powers to carry out all the activities of the Tsarism in the Turkistan area. Kaufman carried out the assimilation policies in Turkestan with the powers given to him by the tsarism. | |||
