| Fezâʾil-i Cum’a, XVII. yüzyılın ilk çeyreğinde Osmanlı Türkçesi ile telif edilmiş bir eserdir. Eserin elimizdeki tek nüshası Süleymâniye Kütüphanesi Hamidiye Koleksiyonu’nda 539 numarada kayıtlıdır. Eserde Müslümanlar için haftanın en fazîletli günü olarak kabul görmüş cuma günü ve bu günde özel olarak yerine getirilen nâfile ibadetler konu edilmiştir. Eserde ana tema işlenirken naslardan yapılan alıntılar ve tercümeler, dil tahlilleri ile dinî kaynaklardan referanslar yoluyla tartışma üslubunun benimsendiği görülmektedir. Eser, Arapça bir risâlenin Osmanlı Türkçesine tercümesidir. Ancak birebir tercüme olmayıp müellif tarafından yapılan açıklama ve eklemelerle telif-tercüme hüviyeti kazanmıştır. Eser, mensur bölümlere ek olarak Türkçe ve Arapça manzum bölümler de ihtiva etmektedir. Çalışmamızda eserin Hocazade Es ‘ad Mehmed Efendi tarafından yazıldığı ve müellifin biyografik bilgileri tespit edilmiş, Türk İslâm Edebiyatı ve fazîletnâme litratüründeki konumu değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca eserin mensur ve manzum bölümleri muhteva ve şekil özellikleri bakımından incelenerek transkripsiyonlu metni ortaya konmuştur. | Faḍāʾil-i Cum’a, is a work written in Ottoman Turkish in the first quarter of the XVIIth century. The only copy of the manuscript we have is registered in the Hamidiye Collection of the Suleymaniye Library at number 539. The work contains the Friday, which is considered to be the most virtuous day of the week for Muslims, and the certain prayers performed on this special day. While the main theme has been in the process, it is seen that the style of discussion has been adopted through quotations and translations, language analysis and references from religious sources. The work is the translation of an Arabic treatise into Ottoman Turkish. However, it is not a literal translation, but has gained the identity of copyright-translation with the explanations and additions written by the author. It includes Turkish and Arabic poetry sections as well as prose sections. In this thesis, it was ascertained that the work was written by Hocazade Es ‘ad Mehmed Efendi, in addition, the biographical information of the author has been found and thereafter the position of the work in Turkish Islamic Literature and faziletnāme literature has been evaluated. Furthermore, the transcribed text has been attained with the examination of the prose and poetry sections of the work in terms of content and stylistic features.
