| Cumhuriyet Dönemi Türk Edebiyatı’nın çağdaş kadın yazarları arasında kendisine bir yer edinmiş olan Perihan Mağden, çok yönlü kişiliğiyle dikkat çeker. 80’li yıllardan itibaren şiir, öykü, köşe yazısı ve roman gibi çeşitli türlerde eserler veren Mağden, Modern Türk Edebiyatı’na katkıda bulunmuş bir yazardır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türk edebiyatında daha çok köşe yazarlığıyla ön plana çıkarılan yazarı romancı yönüyle de tanıtmaktır. 90’lı yılların başlarında ilk romanını yazmaya başlayan yazarın bugüne kadar yayımlanmış altı romanı dikkate sunularak hazırlanan çalışma iki ana bölüm şeklinde oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmaya hazırlık mahiyeti taşıyan “Giriş” bölümünde, çağdaş Türk romanı içerisindeki konumunun daha iyi anlaşılması için Mağden’in yazar kimliğini oluşturma sürecinden ana hatlarıyla söz edilmiştir. Esas itibariyle “monografi” niteliği taşıyan birinci bölümde; yazarın çeşitli mecralara vermiş olduğu röportajlar doğrultusunda hayatına, sanat/edebiyat anlayışına ve farklı türlerde yazmış olduğu eserlerine ışık tutulmuştur. Çalışmanın temelini oluşturan ikinci bölümde, yazarın Türk romanına kazandırmış olduğu altı romanının her biri, roman sanatının vermiş olduğu imkânlar doğrultusunda romanın tanıtımı, isim-içerik ilişkisi, olay örgüsü, anlatıcı ve bakış açısı, kişiler dünyası, zaman, mekân ve tema bağlamında incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Romanların yapısal ve tematik kurgusu incelenirken roman teorisinin yanında tarih, coğrafya, sosyoloji, felsefe ve özellikle psikoloji gibi çeşitli disiplinlerden de yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda yer alan “Sonuç” bölümü, elde edilen bulgular ışığında söz konusu altı romanın ortak özellikleri ve farklılıkları ortaya konularak yazarın Türk romanındaki yeri değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. | Perihan Mağden, who has a place among the contemporary women writers of the Turkish Literature of the Republican Period, attracts attention with her versatile personality. Mağden, who has been producing works in various genres such as poetry, short stories, corner posts and novels since the 80s, is an author who has contributed to Modern Turkish Literature. The aim of this study is to introduce the author, who is more popular with her columnist aspect in Turkish literature, with her novelist aspect. The study consists of two main chapters, drawing attention to the six published novels of the author, who started to write her first novel in the early 90s. In the “Introduction” part, which is a preparation part for the study, in order to better understand her position in the contemporary Turkish novel, the process of forming the author identity of Mağden is generally mentioned. In the first part, which is essentially a “monograph”; her life, her understanding of art/literature and her works that she wrote in different genres were shed light according to the author’s interviews in various media. In the second part, which forms the basis of the study; each of the six novels that the author brought to the Turkish novel was examined in line with the possibilities given by the art of the novel, the introduction of the novel, the name-content relationship, the plot, the narrator and his point of view, the world of people, time, place and theme. While analyzing the structural and thematic fiction of her novels, various disciplines such as history, geography, sociology, philosophy and especially psychology were also used in addition to the theory of the novel. The “Conclusion” part, which takes place at the end of the study. In the light of the findings, the place of the author in the Turkish novel was tried to be evaluated by presenting the common features and differences of her six novels.
