| Ürgüp’ün güneyinde yer alan Cemil Köyü’nün 1.3 km güneyinde bulunan, Keşlik Manastırı bünyesindeki Archangelios ve H. Stephanos Kiliselerinin duvar resimlerini konu alan çalışmada; duvar resimleri (sembolik tasvirler, sembolik sahneler, konulu sahneler, tek figürler ve süsleme) başta ikonografi olmak üzere, resim programı ve kaynak bakımından incelenmiş olup üslup ve ikonografi açısından bölge ve dönemleri içerisinde karşılaştırılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Yedi bölümden oluşan tezin ilk bölümünde, konunun tanımı, amacı ve önemi, son olarak da çalışmanın yöntemi anlatılmıştır. İkinci bölümde kısaca Kapadokya’nın tarihçesi ve coğrafyası ile bu coğrafya içerisinde Cemil Köyü’nün konumu ve tarihçesi hakkında bilgi verilmiş, köyde yer alan diğer yapılar kısaca anlatılmıştır. Yayınların tanıtıldığı üçüncü bölümde, Kapadokya bölgesindeki kiliselerin duvar resimlerini ele alan ve tez çalışmasını oluşturan kiliselerin yer aldığı kitaplar ve makaleler tanıtılmıştır. Yayınların künyeleri verildikten sonra içerikleri, yöntemleri kısaca anlatılmış, yayınlar içerisinde konuyu oluşturan kiliselerin nasıl anlatıldığı, neler içerdiği, tarihlendirme yöntemleri; bu bilgilerin yerinde ve yeterli olup olmadığı hakkında kritik yaparak bilgiler verilmiştir. Keşlik Manastırının mimari yapısının tanıtıldığı dördüncü bölümde, Keşlik manastırını oluşturan yapılar başlıklar altında anlatılmıştır. Beşinci bölüm olan katalogda, ?katalog tanıtımı? başlığı altında kataloğun yöntemi anlatılmış, daha sonra iki ayrı başlık altında H. Stephanos ve Archangelios kiliseleri ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiş, kiliseler hakkında araştırmacıların tarihlendirmelerine yer verilmiş, resim programı ile mimari arasındaki ilişki göz önüne alınarak, duvar resimleri mimari ile birlikte ele alınmıştır. Kronolojik sıraya göre, sahnelerin katalog, çizim ve resim numaraları verildikten sonra varsa yazıtı, bugünkü durumu ve kaynakları belirtilmiş; ayrıntılı tasvirleri yapılmıştır. Altıncı bölüm değerlendirme olup burada yine ayrı başlıklar altında ikonografi genel değerlendirmesi yapılmış, resim programında yer alan sahnelerin kaynak ve ikonografileri ve ikonografinin dönem içerisindeki yeri incelenmiştir. Daha sonra, H. Stephanos ve Archangelios kiliseleri, sahnelerin kaynakları, resim programı ve üslup açısından bölge ve dönemleri içerisinde karşılaştırılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde kiliselerin genel özellikleri kısaca verildikten sonra benzer örneklerle resim programı, ikonografi ve üslup açısından karşılaştırılarak tarihleme yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Tezin sonunda bibliografya, ek olarak da harita ve sahnelerin İncillere göre dağılımı tablosu yer almaktadır. | |||
| Keşlik Monastery which has been south of Ürgüp south of Cemil Village?s 1.3 km contents Archangelios and H. Stephanos about churches wall paintings (symbolic description, symbolic acts, the acts of subject alone figures and decoration) firstly iconography has been checked as painting programme and foundation wall paintings, picture programme, style with comparing their region and term about iconography. In second section it has been shortly informed about Cappadocia?s historical and geography with the palace of Cemil Village?s in this geography, explained shortly other buildings there has been in the village.In the third section that is description of publishing, the books and articles are descriped being thesis studies of churches wall pictures in the church of Kapadokya region. After giving the names of publishing their contents, it has been shortly description of the methods in the publishing of being the subject church how it?s explained, whats contents, methods of dates; it has been informed with critic about if this information are true or not. In the forth section the description of architectural of Keşlik Monastery, the buildings which has been Keşlik Monastery explained under the captions. In the Catalog section being of fifth section, explained the methods of catalog under the ?Description of Catalog?, after that under the two separate caption H. Stephanos and Archangelios churches observed as detailed, there has been dates about churches by the Observers, the wall pictures are discussed with architectural together between picture programme and architectural relation. As a chronological order, catalog of acts, after giving the number of figure and picture. If there is epigraph, the final situation of today and pointed out it?s foundation; described with detailed. Sixth section being assessment it has been iconography general assessment under the separate caption here again. The acts of being in the picture programme foundation, and their iconographs and observed the place of iconographs of the term. After that, H. Stephanos and Archangelios churches have been assessment foundation of acts, painting programme and about style with comparing in their region and terms. In the result section after the churches general specifications shortly explained with similiar examples, painting programme, it has been studied dating iconograph and about styling with comparing.
