Öz

The emergence of new problems with climate change brings about an increase in the interest of social work in this field. Therefore, there is a need to understand the level of climate change awareness and anxiety in the field of social work. In this sense, the study aims to determine the climate change awareness and anxiety levels of social work undergraduate students. The study includes data collected online from 206 social work undergraduate students studying at two universities using the “Global Climate Change Awareness Scale (GCCAS)” and “Climate Change Anxiety Scale (CCAS)” and a sociodemographic information form including questions about climate change. It was found that the participants, mostly (87.9%) women, had a high level of climate change awareness (72.05 ± 14.02).
