| Çevre sorunlarının anlaşılmasında, öğrencilere verimli bir çevre eğitiminin kazandırılması ve çevre eğitiminin öğretim programlarında daha fazla yer alması oldukça önemlidir. Çevre eğitiminin önemli bir parçasını oluşturan omurgasızlar ise tüm hayvan türlerinin yaklaşık %90’ını kapsar. Büyük bir canlı grubunu oluşturan omurgasızlar, ekosistem açısından oldukça önemlidir. Bununla birlikte çoğu insan onların yaşamları ve önemleri hakkında yeterli farkındalığa sahip olmadıkları gibi özellikle böcekler ve örümceklere karşı büyük bir korku ve nefret hissederler. Bu problemin çözümüne yönelik, bu çalışmada genelde böcek eğitimi verilmiş, özelde başkalaşım konusunun öğretimi hakkında Tenebrio molitor L. epoksi başkalaşım materyali kullanılarak yapılan böcek atölyesi ile öğrencilere böcekler tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve gözlem formu kullanılmış ve elde edilen nitel veriler, içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma Ankara merkezde bir ilköğretim okulunda 8. sınıfta öğrenim gören gönüllü olan 10 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda yapılan böcek atölyesinin öğrencilerin sahip olduğu korkuyu yenmede yetersiz kaldığı ancak böceklere karşı ilgiyi, sevgiyi ve populasyonlarını koruma isteklerini arttırdığı belirlenmiştir. Böylece etkinliğin öğrencilerin böcek içsel motivasyonları üzerine pozitif yönde etki ettiği tespit edilmiştir. | |||
| In understanding environmental problems, it is very important to provide students with an efficient environmental education and to be more involved in the curriculum of environmental education. Invertebrates, which of form an important part of environmental education, cover about %90 of all animal species. Invertebrates, which make up a large group of living things, are very important for the ecosystem. However, most people do not have a sufficient awareness of their lives and importance. They also feel great fear and hatred towards them (especially insects and spiders). In this study, insects were introduced to the students with the insect workshop, which was conducted using Tenebrio molitor Linnaeus epoxy material, mainly about insect education and the teaching of the subject of metamorphosis. Semi-structured interview form and observation form were used within the scope of the research. As a result of the research, it was determined that the insect workshop was inadequate to overcome the fear that students had, but increased their interest, love and desire to protect their populations. Thus, it is understood that the activity has a positive effect on the instrict motivations of the students. | |||
